The Dead / Seven Tour

The Dead / Seven Tour by Sevendust and Theory of a Deadman will be playing at the Marquee theater in Tempe, Arizona on Wednesday, September 16th, 2016.

The two bands will be touring across North America together in support of their new releases as well as previous work. 

Sevendust

Sevendust is a hard rock band from 1994. A defining element of Sevendust's sound is their heavy riffs and many musical elements. They have some classic songs like "Denial", "Waffle", "Black" and an emotional song "Angel's Son" that they will play with a lot of intensity. The band recently released their 12th studio album "One" in 2026. The album shows the band's evolution as a band but still keeps the core sound of Sevendust. Sevendust has 12 years of touring under their belt and have earned many Grammy nominations. 

Theory of a Deadman

Theory of a Deadman is known for delivering huge shows filled with huge hits and powerful performances. Canada's own Theory of a Deadman have been bringing their special brand of Post-Grunge Rock to fans since 2001. This power house of a band has brought us hit singles such as "Bad Girlfriend", "Hate My Life", "Santa Monica" and many more iconic songs that have earned the band a large amount of Platinum certifications. 

Return to Dust

The opening band for The Dead / Seven Tour is Return to Dust. This up and coming band of rockers will be opening for many of the North American dates for the co-headlining tour of Sevendust and Theory of a Deadman. The band will be playing all of their new songs and the fans will get to see why they were picked to open up for two of the most respected and well known bands in rock music.

Marquee Theater Information

Marquee Theater is a club-style venue located in the heart of downtown Tempe. It's within walking distance of many restaurants, bars, and shops on Mill Avenue. The theater itself has about a 1,000 to 1,500 capacity. It's a general admission show on the floor with a balcony that has seated chairs to view the stage from above. Typical concessions at this venue would be hot dogs, hamburgers, french fries, soda, beer, etc. There may be additional items available such as merchandise.

Parking Information

There is a small amount of parking right in front of the Marquee Theater that costs $10 per car for Marquee events. Right across the street are a couple of high rise garages that have tons of spaces. There is also tons of parking in the surrounding area of Mill and Tempe and it is a short walk to the Marquee Theater.
